Lead Role for the eHealth component in the
EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region!
The
“Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being” (NDPHS)
is the priority area coordinator for the implementation of the European Union
Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) in health issues. This May, the NDPHS
offered the eHealth for Regions network to take the lead role for the eHealth

Cross-Border Breast Health project: Invitation to Final Conference in November!
This final conference will present the main findings and
proposals of the project to a broader public audience in order to transform the
virtual building of a cross-border breast cancer center into reality.
The final conference will take place on 24th of
November 2010, 13:00h to 16:00h, in Flensburg.

3rd Virtual Seminar with Political Support!
The third virtual seminar took place on 26th of April. Besides the network members the representatives of the Political Strategic Board participate in this third virtual meeting. Prof. Carsten Rose from the University Hospital in Skåne lectured on “Regional Cancer Centres in Sweden”. With his presentation he pointed out an important part of the innovative National Strategy of Sweden in dealing with the high prevalence of cancer. Prof. Rose´s presentation was accompanied by an international discussion on regional strategies in cancer treatment. After the summer break, two further virtual seminars are scheduled for 2010 with presenters from Germany and Lithuania.
