Short description
The Heart Center as the department of Kaunas University of Medicine was founded in 2001.
In the Heart Center activity participate department of Cardiac surgery, department of Cardiology, department of Interventional Cardiology and some other departments of Kaunas University of Medicine. Heart Center is working closely with Institute of Cardiology and as University center are serving for whole country (3.8 mln. population) and as a reference center for more than 1.3 mln population.
The aim of Heart Center is to serve best quality services for cardiovascular patients from all over the country.
